We are PFS Police and Fire Scholarship, an educational scholarship fund. Run by the registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, SponsorKids, we aspire to make a difference in the lives of the children of First Responders. We are proud to provide an educational scholarship opportunity for pursuing higher education.

This non-profit scholarship fund is run by passionate high school students in the Dublin area who want to give back to Dublin’s heroes. Please join us in our mission of giving the children of our community’s First Responders a chance to change their lives forever.

Sponsorkids helps us with financial management and legal boundaries in order to earn and maintain the trust of our donors. Every donation made to PFS is 100% tax deductible. Our federal tax identification number (also known as our employer identification number) is 27-4368971.

We have created an online fundraising campaign to help the Dublin Food Pantry. Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19), there has been a 400% increase in new families needing access to the pantry and a 50% increase in usage by regular customers. THEY NEED OUR HELP!
Although we can’t physically run a marathon due to social distancing, join us in our race to raise $10,000! If every person in Dublin donated just $0.25, then we would easily reach our goal.
If we come together as a community and raise $10,000, PFS will donate an additional $1,500 to the Dublin food pantry!
help us get to the finish line.

Why we need your help

Over 3,000 families in Dublin are finding it hard to put food on their tables at this time. This figure is still increasing.

The Dublin City Schools have 3000 children who receive free or reduced lunch. 16% of Dublin students are considered economically disadvantaged. These children and their families have been struggling to access safe, nutritious meals.

4,700 households in Dublin live on less than $35,000 annually. Many of these at risk families have insecure employment.

Why not participate in a food drive?

Although food drives are extremely helpful for the Dublin Food Pantry, monetary donations make a greater impact. The Dublin Food Pantry is able to buy more food per dollar than a regular consumer due to relationships with grocery stores and other suppliers.

Therefore, with monetary donations instead of food donations, they would be able to provide a larger amount of families with nutritious food.

About Us

The Sponsor Kids Foundation recruited a group of self-motivated high school students who seek to gain entrepreneurial skills and spread the vision of DublinPFS. These high schoolers came together as a team, along with a board of advisors, and created PFS: Police and Fire Scholarship.
